Just another UMW Blogs weblog. This was part of an assignment from Design Principles class in the Spring. We created two color scheme paintings of our choice of another work of art. I chose The Broken Column. Basically something similar to tracing the image and filling in the blanks with paint. This image is a monochrome of red, acrylic on Bristol board. Finally getting all the pictures together that I took over time for this project. It took me closer to 16 hours. Not sure if its exactly 16 or over. Just today I put in about 12 hours and I have already put in a few hours planning it out and getting a basic background down. This was the planning part.
